Autumn Term 2018
Wow! The start of a new year, we are really excited to meet and greet all of the children into our class this week, helping them settle quickly, build friendships and have fun over their first few weeks in full-time school and beyond. We hope the children in Devon Class will soon be happy, independent learners, embracing all opportunities to learn and enjoying completing their weekly independent learning challenges and a range of exciting adult-led activities.
Throughout Autumn term we will be focussing on teaching the children all of the skills they will need in order to be successful and engaged learners...embedding all of the skills the children will need so that all of the children develop to...
'be the best they can be'!
We look forward to working with you and helping you discover what support you can provide your child at home with supporting your child's learning - especially their phonics and reading, please enjoy sharing books and stories at home with your child and encourage them to play a range of games with you spotting numbers and letters both at home and when you are out and about.
Please look at our class blog (see below) with your child in order to see what we have been doing in class and have a conversation about what they have learnt and enjoyed!
