Hello,
I hope you are all well and keeping yourselves warm!
I am including various activities for you at home over the day; do not feel pressured to print anything. I have made sure that everything is accessible with paper and pen. Please bring any work you do at home into school the next day for us to share!
Have a wonderful day.

You could hunt for these tricky words in books and have a go at writing them yourself!
Foundation Maths
We are becoming fantastic mathematicians in Wren Class. Today, can you focus on numbers 4 and 5? Have a go at counting to 4 and 5 as many times as you can, counting forwards and backwards!
If you feel brave, see if you can write the numbers 4 and 5.
I have attached a PowerPoint about the numbers 4 and 5 if you would like to explore them together as a family.
Foundation Writing
Have a go at some mark-making. You could draw shapes or big circles or practice writing your name!
If you want a bit more of a challenge, I have included a winter caption writing activity. Can you write a simple sentence about the picture? (please do not worry about any printing; children could practice writing a sentence about any picture - not just the ones on the sheet)

Writing
Today, we are looking at capital letters and full stops. I have put together a PowerPoint that you can share as a family and a quick activity involving you copying the sentences but with the correct punctuation. Please note that you do not have to print anything; this can be copied onto any paper you have!
Phonics
Have a go at writing some of our red words. Think carefully about the ones that are in your book this week. You could try reading and writing these words!
Maths
Last week, we started thinking about shapes. We discovered that some shapes are 3D and some are 2D. Be shape detectives and hunt for some shapes around your home. Draw and label some shapes you find. I have attached a shape quiz you might want to try and some detective wands for your hunt (these are entirely optional and not needed).
Wider Curriculum
RE - Can you believe we have reached December already? Today, we are looking a little more at the Nativity story. I have attached the story in PowerPoint format, have a go at drawing out the story; what happens first, then, and next?
