Appeals received after these dates will be heard by the same deadlines if possible, if not, they will be heard within 30 school days.

Changing School In-Year

An in-year application is for children requiring a school place during the school year, rather than at the usual transfer time. You can make an application to transfer school in-year for the current academic year (2025-2026).

If you wish to apply for a place during the school year, please contact the school to arrange a tour with our Head Teacher, Mr Tomlinson on 01636 680360.  Nottinghamshire County Council manage our school admissions and waiting lists.

Right of Appeal

Under the terms of the School Admissions Appeals Code 2021, if you apply for and are refused a place at St. Peter's Cross Keys Academy, you have the right to appeal.

Admission Appeals at SNMAT academies are managed by Nottinghamshire County Council Appeals Team, who provide an independent appeals process.  If you decide that you wish to proceed with an appeal, you should within four weeks of the date of the refusal letter, complete the online form on Nottinghamshire County Council's website:-

Appeals at SNMAT academies will be heard by an Independent Appeals Panel in accordance with the School Admissions Code 2021, The School Admissions Appeals Code 2022 and Part 3 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998
