• Year 4 trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park

  What an excellent day! Before setting off we were worried about the forecast of strong winds and wondered if the animals would stay hidden away in their enclosures. Instead, our concerns were unfounded and the animals were all out and about. We saw lions, tigers and bears - oh my! (I couldn't resist it)

   

  Year 4 also learnt lots about endangered species and conservation. They participated well in the workshop and amazed the zoo-keeper with their knowledge.

• Girls Football Success

  On Sunday 10th June 2018 we entered two teams into the Newark Town Under 11s Tournament. Some of the girls had never played a match before - just trained with coach Nick Rhodes-Yeomans. Both teams played 8 matches, including 2 against each other. 

   

  It was a lovely, sunny afternoon and parents and siblings supported from the sidelines.

   

  Our pink team won the tournament and the red team were a very close second. Medals and a cup were presented afterwards.

   

  It was lovely to watch all the girls supporting each other and playing with such enthusiasm. And we have also identified players for next years school team from year 4.............................
