Welcome to Puffin Class

Hello everyone, welcome back to school and to Year 4.  

This autumn half-term our essential question is 'How Roman is Roman Britain?'  We are so lucky to live in a community that has a wealth of historical features around, being able to spot pieces of the past through buildings, bridges, roads, artefacts and more.  For this reason, we will be visiting Lincoln Castle and exploring some of the features in our local area too.  We will tie in our historical learning with our art topic – making a mosaic tile.  

On Tuesday, Mr Rhodes-Yeomans will be teaching PE.  Please come to school in your school PE kit.

Also, this half-term we will have Forest School on Wednesday afternoons. Please remember children need long sleeves and long trousers for this, as well as waterproofs and wellies.  

We are really looking forward to all our fantastic opportunities and fun learning this half-term.
