The spring tournament was uncharacteristically blessed with sunshine and the team had a great day, narrowly losing a couple of close fixtures, which if the luck had gone our way, would've seen the team through to the semi-finals.
A couple of victories and a draw as well, meant the team had a good day with some lovely individual skills from all the players. Unfortunately Ashton was feeling unwell but came to cheer his team mates on (thanks Ashton!) and we missed Josh M who was playing for his Saturday team. A big thank you to Grace for stepping in at the last minute who shocked many an observer with her touch and resilience.
The highlights being the passing and movement around the pitch and a group of year 5's and year 6's determined to play at their best for the school.
Finally thank you to Mr Rhodes-Yeomans for his coaching, encouragement and all the time he gives (to all our school teams) and the parents who gave up their time to bring their child along and support the team.
